I am an innovation project.
My purpose statement: I will train in righteousness – I will ready myself & others to pursue a new master plan.

Sometimes when I speak & write, I sound “preachy.” What’s up with that? It might be because I’m actually talking to myself, not you. I need the preaching; the smack upside the head; the powerfully challenging language to snap me out of my minimizing risk, denying ambiguity, ringleader/macho-cubano, control-freak, unconscious auto-pilot, jersey shore, capitalistic, cartoon, stereotype, wrestling match that’s always going on inside my head.

That’s what this blog is. Its a place for me to capture my innovation (ring)leadership “notes to self…” so I can try and make sense of it…try to live it/be it.

I’ve been thinking about H2 share the insights of the emotional & intellectual hurdles, failures, commitments, triumphs, regrets, big & little lessons learned and joys/satisfaction of today’s enlightened leader (who sometimes doesn’t seem or feel like an enlightened leader)- at work & at home – leading/creating innovators/creating cultures of learning/for & with the innovation generation and working hard to lead in the new normal…

For now, I write notes…to myself…”notes to self” – Come at me bro. I like it & I need it to grow. Conflict/challenge + support = growth.
